Welcome Pickleballers to the 2012 Happy Trails Classic

Monday January 23 - Friday January 27, 2012


General Information:

· Same format as last year (2011); EXCEPT: NO SINGLES

· Online Registration: You still must sign the waiver and mail the monies.

· Competition includes Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

· Location: 17200 West Bell Rd:  Town Center and Cascade Courts

· Minimum Age: 50 as of the start of the tournament—December 31, 2012

· Hot Lunch available at Happy Trails Chuckwagon; refreshments provided at courtside

· Online Registration Only, beginning Nov 15, 2011 ( www.pickleballtournaments.com  )

Tournament Format:

· Current USAPA rules will apply—Yellow Outdoor Ball will be used

· Double Elimination

· Age Groupings will be in the standard 5 year ranges: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, etc… If there are fewer than 4 entries in an age group, age groups may be combined.

· Age Groups with 14 or more entries may be divided into separate groups based on skill levels provided by the players and reviewed by the committee.

Tournament Social: Thursday—January 26th

Time: 5-9pm

Location: Happy Trails Town Center Ballroom

Cost: $16.50/person

Dress: Casual 

Drink: Bring your own Beverage (BYOB)

Food:  Beef Pot Roast or Chicken Cordon Bleu

Music and Dancing—Billy James

50/50 Raffle: Tickets can be purchased at the door
